My question was even more basic. Just figured it out. Didn't realize I had to click on keyword and drag it to the Launch App / Files block. IE, I couldn't figure out how to create the curved line. But you're right it be great to sequence the actions. X -> Y -> Z instead of X -> YZ. Thanks for you help.

I want to create a workflow that will toggle my VPN and then load the app Remote Desktop. I created keyword to applescript - which works fine. I then use the PLUS (see red circle) to add Launch an app. It did this as you can see in the red box.
