@scaba Thanks I was able to add it to my search scrope once I did the hidden files thing but it didn't seem to be solving the problem and apps were still not shown in alfred...

@scaba could you please tell me how you could select appliction under the system folder? Cause for some reason I could only see IOSSupport and Library in that folder. thanks.

Thanks but I've tried all of the methods on the page and all of them didn't really work.  

I upgraded from A3 to A4 today cause the I can't really find any files except for applications in the previous version.  However, when I upgraded to A4 everything was fixed except that the applications no longer shows up in the search bar.  I've tried cleaning the cache, reindexing and it didn't work.
