I have installed Alfred on a Mini and a MacBook Pro and I'd like to keep its preferences in sync. Dropbox is not an option for me.
My discipline is when I need to go offsite, I would use Chronosync to copy Alfred's preferences to my MacBook Pro. When I return, I would use Chronosync to copy preferences from the MacBook Pro to the Mini, if any have changed. In other words, I would not be changing preferences on both Macs simultaneously.
I have identified the following as folders and files related to Alfred's preferences: ▪ ~Library/Application Support/Alfred 2 folder and its contents ▪ ~Library/Application Support/Preferences/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2.plist ▪ ~Library/Application Support/Preferences/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-Preferences
Is my plan a harmless procedure? Is there any machine-specific data in any of these folders or files that should not be copied to another Mac? Are there other folders or files that I am not aware of?
Thanks.
