  1. Actually, I think I figured it out. The keywords in the original file were formatted as ';;b' (for example). Seems the semi-colon is a delimiter, so changing everything to ';<keyword>;' prevented the "collisions" (e.g., ';beta;').
  2. Here's another question: how do you handle keyword "collisions". i.e., can I force Alfred to expand after a space character so that I can map ';;psi' and ';;pi'? As is, I can only have one snippet that maps to anything that starts with ';;p'.
  3. Whoa! I didn't realize snippets worked in any MacOS text field without needing to invoke Alfred. That is slick! Even works in Microsoft Word, which I did not expect. Doesn't get any better. While playing with this, I also learned that Microsoft Word has AutoCorrect "snippets" for Greek letters, too. Just enable "Use Math AutoCorrect rules outside of math regions". e.g., \Beta and \beta give upper and lowercase beta symbols, respectively. After all these years of using that lousy `Insert -> Advanced Symbol` dialogue... I have even searched for solutions on several occasions and never encountered that. Maybe it's relatively new.
  4. Fancy! I like that. Despite being a long-time Alfred user (since v1.0, I think...), I've never had the time to dig into the internals and learn about snippets, workflows, etc. Do you have an opinion on filter vs. snippets for this, or does it wind up being the same? When I saw the other option was only working for the German keyboard, I decided I likely didn't have time to convert it to the American keyboard. But maybe that's less work than I think? Ultimately, I think I'd prefer to be able to just type `;;b` or maybe just `beta` and have that come up as top option, but also have Alfred's default approaches (sans key words like `snip`) fill out the rest of the options. Hope that makes sense.
  5. Hello, I regularly need to access Greek characters (e.g., β, α, etc.) in various programs (e.g., Word, Teams, Messages, etc.) but I'm not aware of a snazzy (i.e., efficient) way to type them on Mac. For example, in Word, I always have to go through the cumbersome `Insert -> Special Character` menu, and then constantly copy and paste said characters throughout my document. I have also seen ways to quickly switch to a Greek keyboard on Mac, but I feel like Alfred was made to make this super easy. Is anyone aware of a way to quickly access Greek characters through Alfred (or even a better way outside of Alfred)? Of course, this would be useful for all special characters in addition to Greek. I found a thread from 2014 with a workflow doing exactly what I'm looking for, but it only works on the German keyboard layout and hasn't been updated since. Not sure if it would even work with Alfred 5. Really appreciate your help!
