I seem to have come across a strange interaction between Alfred, TextExpander and Cookie. If I shut down or restart via Alfred, TextExpander Helper fails to launch with error 10810 (set to launch at login via its own preferences), and Cookie does not launch (it is set via its own preferences to launch and hide). If I shut down or restart via the item on the Apple menu, both applications behave normally at system start. I have tried this about six or seven times in succession, and it has happened both before and after update to OS 10.10.1. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the whole iTunes module? Alternatively, is it possible to have NO hot key assigned to activate iTunes? I will never listen to music on my computer, so I would like to reserve the hot keys for something more useful. Cheers, Martin BB.
