Rich text snippet workaround for matching font property values?

I have a problem that I know I share with other people, in that the Rich Text content being pasted via Snippets or Workflow's Copy to Clipboard, will not match the font of the text it is being pasted into.

 

In my user case, I am pasting content with bolded words and hyperlinks into emails; which will then look more or less funny on the recipient's end.

 

The Strip function for font, size and color is not really stripping it, but rather setting it to some default values (in my case) Helvete Neue, 13px and rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.85).

 

Even if I would match the css properties with the one's being used in the email (web or desktop) client, it is still not working properly.

 

I'm thinking of adding some JS to the web client that will strip the properties when pasting the rich text, but that is somewhat clunky and will anyway not work for the desktop client.

 

Please, have anyone found a workaround for this?
