talkRAYdio
one of the video games I play has an important key that I press often in an in convenient place and no way to remap what the key does within the game. The key in question is the '5' key on the numeric keypad is there a way i can use alfred to make it so that when i hit the 'a' key it will instead send a '5' ? If so, i would need some help figuring out how to do it. I don't know alfred well at all and simply telling me "make an action" will leave me lost. assuming alfred can do this, is there a way to easily activate and deactivate this when i'm inside/outside of the game? also - if alfred cannot do this, any recommendations on how to achieve this? thanks PS - one other thing - is there a way , with alfred (or anything else) to assign a left mouse click to a keyboard key? the mac has a way to do it, but doesn't give you options to change it's builtin key that it has set up Link to comment
vitor
Alfred could set some keyboard shortcut trigger a key, but remapping is a different matter.Take a look at Karabiner to remap your keyboard and BetterTouchTool to remap your mouse. Link to comment
