Thanks so Much, that has sorted the issue! I did not realise there was another directory! Thanks again for everyone's time and advice.

There is no evidence of Parallels existing on my Mac anymore. the app, any library entries or anything existing in Library/application support have all been deleted and uninstalled. The search is still coming back with the original Application directory in 'Applications' which simply does not exist anymore. As you can see from the graphic below Parralels is still showing as available in search. But does not exist. I have no idea what Universal Action does, after reading the link provided I am not sure what value or information using this tool would provide.

Hi all, have a small problem that requires help and advice, please? When carrying out a search using Alfred the Alfred search is still showing applications that have been deleted and uninstalled. I have cleared all caches, cleared the Mac OS spotlight cache And after all of the cache clearing, I am still getting the same results. For Example, if I search for 'Terminal' the search is still showing both the Mac OS Terminal and Terminal within Ubuntu as a virtual with Parralels 18. I have not had Parallels on my system for some time and it has been correctly uninstalled. How do reset please and why are old apps still showing in the search, please? thanks in advance Gary
