  1. Super duper! Thank you very much, Vitor. That works very well for my needs. And such a prompt turnaround - and on a Sunday! Do you accept any small financial contributions for your work? Your workflow and support are worth it, and much appreciated. (By the way, I'm able to replicate the Calculator issue each time. If you'd like any diagnostic information then just let me know.)
  2. Thank you. That's strange that you couldn't reproduce. I'll try again tomorrow. Concerning your second response, that's a workaround for sure - it's an extra cognitive step, though, and requires more typing. So I'll just stick with Cmd-`, which is faster. Thanks again.
  3. Me again, Vitor! Still loving this workflow. An integral part of my workday. Thank you. A couple of matters: - Strangely, macos Calculator doesn't show up in the list. A weird limitation of the system API, it seems. - Do you have a variant of this workflow that shows windows only of the active application? (that is, "Application Windows")
  4. Thanks very much for the response, zeitlings. This is my use-case. I would like to have workflows that follow the following pattern: search *current* instances of something, and use slash to search *all* instances of something. For example, search open applications with slash to search all applications. Or search *open* google docs (browser tabs), with slash to search *all* google docs. With the main Alfred search, firstly I've found that I can't reliably hide all the types of results I'm not interested in. And secondly, using the main Alfred search would allow me to have only one of the above workflows at once. I'll take a look at the Script Filter utility. I appreciate the link. Thanks for your time!
  5. Hi there - I've been looking online for an answer, but I've not been successful unfortunately. I have a hotkey set that nicely pulls up results. I'd like to set a keyword for *within* that. Specifically, I have an "Applications" workflow with a hotkey that allows me to search for applications. However, from the same input field triggered by the hotkey, I'd like to type "/" to then enable me to search folders instead of applications, e.g. "/desktop". This is possible in PowerToys in Windows, and I should think it's possible in Alfred, but I don't see anything yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Why hello! I bumped into the same limitation as mentioned in the previous comments, about hidden or minimised apps not appearing in the workflow results - but! after some exploration I came across a little macos utility called Tuck that helps to circumvent this issue. Tuck sends windows to the side out of sight at a keyboard shortcut, much like minimising them, but the OS still "draws" them even though they are not on display. And so they appear in the workflow results still! The link, if you're interested, is https://www.irradiatedsoftware.com/tuck/. Tuck (with which I have no affiliation at all) helps to make this workflow pretty much perfect now!
  7. Thank you very much for the prompt response, Stephen! I appreciate your thought and time. The reason is just an easier and faster user experience. It saves having to go to another key for cycling the list (and cycling is specifically what I'm looking to do rather than the shortcuts you mention in the list). (My workflow, which I don't have with me at this moment to share, is just a hotkey pointing to the native Running Apps 'input' that Alfred offers. No more than that.) But in my view any solution would be at the Alfred level (that is, maybe a setting or feature I'm unaware of), rather than at the workflow level (the ability to cycle on repeated click doesn't appear as an option on the hotkey).
  8. Hi, I am using a Running Apps workflow. I hit the hotkey and I see the list, with the first result highlighted. Hitting the hotkey again just re-generates the list with the first result highlighted again. Instead of re-generating the list, is it possible to cycle through the results, highlighting them one by one with each subsequent hotkey press? If there's nothing built-in to solve this, might there be any known workarounds? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
