  1. Still does not work, I tried all your inputs but still when I type 4 letters it does not switch to Spotlight
  2. Yes, my bad, of course I meant Spotlight Thanks for quick answer. I will try reindexing and fallback results and will get back to you.
  3. Hi, I am struggling and don't know how to make this simple case: whenever I type then if shortcut is hit then e.g. I run script as usual, say 3-4 letters if I type more than 4 characters, Alfred disappears and calls original Spotify with these characters typed. remove original Alfred from the screen and replace with original Spotify prompt.
  4. @Andrew Thanks, changing Metadata Field to search for kMDItemFSName and also removing "Words" did the trick! Now it works as expected. Thank you!
  5. Thanks, answers to your questions were already described above. I used the workflow suggested by @Vero in this topic below. Note again, the Finder's spotlight can find these files properly and as diagnosed above, Alfred has access to them. Note, maybe that's just a problem with workflow posted by @Vero. Edit: I've created video to show the issue. Note, when I typed full file name libpylon_TL_gtc.so then it was found, but not when I typed just a part of the file name, nor the VST folder.
  6. Is there any progress on this, frankly speaking I bought Alfred power pack mainly for this feature, and it seems there's a bug in Alfred app and search engine. Thanks.
  7. I confirm I have the same problem as @JiabaoGao, I downloaded the workflow to include system files and it does not find any VST folders at /Library (note Finder is able to find that folder and file when I select to include System files). I typed sys (i.e. selected workflow to find system files), then typed VST. The same is for libpylon_TL_gtc.so

  9. How long I need to wait for files to index? I started Alfred5 for the first time today with a hope that it will overcome stupid Spotlight limitation that it can't find files on my disk, only in some selected folders. I installed Alfred5 some hours ago, I selected Default Results and pressed Reset and then Reset to Full Disk. Some examples of what Alfred5 can't find for me: Typed VST, can't find /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST Typed 'libpylon, can't find /usr/local/lib/libpylon_TL_gtc.so In other words, it seems Alfred5 has exactly the same limitation as Spotlight. Thus, definitely it does not search entire disk. Alfred5 has all permissions set. How to fix that? This is on macOS Ventura.
