RBenschop
I want to use the system commands restart and shut down but I dislike the fact that when I use these commands, it actually restarts or shut down my system with the 'reopen windows when logging back in' feature. How can I restart/shut down without that feature? http://d.pr/i/y6CA Here you can see the feature I'm talking about. As you can see it's not ticked. Link to comment
Weaselboy
There is workflow here that will do exactly what you want. http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/787-restart-without-relaunch/?hl=restart Link to comment
RBenschop
Great, thank you! Do you know if there is also a similar workflow for the Shut down system command? Link to comment
jdfwarrior
Great, thank you! Do you know if there is also a similar workflow for the Shut down system command? I created the attached workflow. I didn't make it to Shutdown without Relaunch but you easily add it if you wanted. You could easily add the keyword and two script items into that workflow or another, copy the code from the two scripts and put in the new scripts, and make the single change in the second script telling it to Shutdown instead of Restart.
