Usage

Shorten and expand URLs via the shorturl and longurl keywords.

• ↩: Copy result to clipboard.
• ⌘↩: Copy result and paste to frontmost app.

Good morning - 

 

Just installed URL accordion but giving me an error when used: "error, database insert failed"

 

I ran it from the alfred window using "shorturl" and then pasted the URL (which was a long amazon link).

 

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm sure I just am missing something setup-wise that I should have done?

 

Running Workflow v 2023.1 on Alfred v 5.1.4 [2195], MacOS Ventura 13.6.3

When asking about an existing Workflow, it’s best to use its own forum thread. While it may seem that starting a new thread could give your problem visibility, it fragments the discussion and makes it less likely the author and users of the workflow (the people who can help) will see it. Hello, 

I have an issue while shortening urls, wether I use shorturl or longurl and paste, I have this next to the shortened url. Am I missing something ?

Unfortunately, I’m not sure what’s causing it. The 403 error means the server is actively refusing to accept your request, which is something only the service will be able to clarify the reason for. For example, someone else on your network may have used the API to shorten a URL they have on their blocklist and thus they blocked the IP. That could be verified by trying a safe link (such as https://example.com) on another network. But again, that’s speculation, you’d have contact them to know for sure.
