Alfred switches to wrong desktop when switching between applications

Recommended Posts

Hello Community,

I use Alfred to switch between my (fullscreen-) applications by pressing Command + Space, then typing the first few letters of the application i am trying to switch to, followed by Enter.

However, since a couple of days, Alfred switches to the default desktop (Desktop 1), where clearly no window of the particular application resides.

An example:

I have attached a screenshot of my current arrangement of desktops/fullscreen applications. When I try to switch to "Mail" or "iTerm", everything is fine. However, if I try to switch to "Google Chrome", Alfred switches me to "Desktop" instead.

Any idea how to fix that? Is this really an Alfred issue or does this have something to do with the OS or Google Chrome?

Best Regards,

busch

Well, I spent the last 45mins. to troubleshoot:

- Reboot -> issue still present

- Opening/closing Chrome a couple of times -> issue still present

Then I have seen that I could upgrade to macOS 14.2.1 -> Issue fixed.
