itg
Whenever I use the Alfred copy to clipboard, it inserts extra whitespace around the clipboard contents. Is there a way that I could trim this out? This causes problems when pasting to things that assume tabbed content is something special. Link to comment
RodgerWW
No issues here for me but I am wondering: Open Alfred Prefs, then on left column, select "Clipboard" Then on right side click on "Merging" TAB (if you use snippets you will be able to modify the options) IS "Separate appended item with space" selected in the dropdown? I think it is by default. Perhaps try selecting "Don't separate appended items" to see if that matters? Link to comment
itg
There is no difference. You will only notice this happening in certain places: if i paste into sublime text, it doesn't show the whitespace. if i paste into flowdock, it shows the whitespace. Link to comment
RodgerWW
Hmm, I installed (trial as it were) of FlowDock, and it's not adding white spaces for me at all when I copy to clipboard with Alfred, then paste into flowdock. Is this perhaps a workflow specific issue? Link to comment
jdfwarrior
I don't think so. From where are you referring that you are copying to the clipboard? Using the Workflow output item? Result actions? Link to comment
