See Understanding the Scripting Environment for clues. Hard to say more without looking at the workflow, but that post would always be the first step.

If you ever find the cause and/or a solution, I’d still encourage you to post in this thread as followup. The thread already exists and is probably indexed by search engines anyway, so it may provide help to someone else in the future, Alfred user or not.

bmamlin reacted to ioemilio in Alfred Calculator Missing Features
I noticed that Alfred calculators (both the standard and advanced) miss a "commonly" used function, the factorial. Why isn't it there?

Another missing feature is that of also having ** as operator for exponentiation (since it is common in many programming languages, given that ^ is used for bitwise xor).

Spotlight, for example, has both such functions.

There are some playlists that I like to listen to shuffled.

It would be nice to enable shuffling on a selected playlist by using a modifier key such as shift.

I still run LaunchBar (which I had purchased before switching to Alfred) solely for it's clipboard history (to fill the only real gap in Alfred's functionality).  A new Alfred clipboard history that can reliably recall my last ~40 clipboard entries (like LaunchBar does) without cherry picking only certain types of content (like Alfred currently does) would allow me to finally drop LaunchBar altogether.  I've looked at other clipboard history tools, but they are all too heavy with unnecessary bells & whistles that make them less efficient than LaunchBar's approach.
