Is it possible to instead have Alfred ignore the external drive when it hasn't loaded up yet, and immediately show me results from just the current drive? And then once the external drive has loaded up, then include those results in the current results?

hsl(0, 0, 0) returns hsl(0, 0%, nan%) when it should return hsl(0, 0%, 0%).

How can I lower the score of a result so that other results are ranked higher? Or do I just keep manually selecting the result I want until it moves up?

I use the keyword "iTunes" a lot in Alfred. Most of the time, I want the mini player. But sometimes I want to open the app.
It seems like Alfred orders the results not only based on frequency of which one was used the most, but also based on recency (i.e. which one was used the most in the last week, or whatever).
So, is there a way to give the mini player higher priority than the application, at all times? So that when I type in "iTunes" and hit Enter, I know for sure I am getting the mini player.

I can't seem to go back Down after I've gone Up to see previous commands executed? And in fact, clicking Down seems to disable the ability to go back Up, unless I start from scratch.

How can I see a history of my most recently executed commands in Alfred? For instance, I might want to execute a command that I ran just recently a second time.

I typed in a search term, and although results were not returned immediately, they eventually appeared after about 5-10 seconds. I appreciate your other suggestions too. I think I'll just wait for results to appear for now, because sometimes I don't exactly recall where a file is located.

Could the problem be related to my external drive? I've got this as my external drive. It runs at 5400 RPM. The drive constantly falls asleep when it is not in use, which I like since it keeps it quiet.
But could that also mean that Alfred takes a long time to show files because it's waiting for the drive to load? Ideally, if that's the case, then Alfred should not wait for the external drive to load its contents, and instead it should show contents that it has available at the moment. Then when the external drive loads, it can then refresh what it's showing.
Thoughts?

Hi, sorry, but items still take a few tries before they show up. What I mean is, if I want to open a folder called "Documents" for instance, I open Alfred, type "space" then "Documents". And yet only "Open File..." appears as an option. So I close the Alfred window, wait 10 seconds, then open it again, then search, and it's fine.
Would perhaps running the Metadata re-scan, but with the option to remove the Spotlight V100 file, be a good thing to try now? Or is the problem related elsewhere?

Thanks, the wildcard has been really helpful.
For your second point, I'm not exactly sure what you mean? Could you give an example filename for when I would use your second method?
Thanks!

Okay thanks, I have run the command (but did NOT checkmark the option to remove the Spotlight V100 folder). So far, so good, but I'll have to give it a few days to see if the problem occurs again or not.

Cool thanks. I don't know if I can actually spend the time to build something from that, but it's nice to know it exists.

Well I use the Return key to open items like applications, files, and folders.
-
Yeah I renamed all my playlist folders for now.

If it's an indexing issue, then shouldn't it NEVER be able to find the file? Because, after starting up Alfred three times, it can finally find the file.

If I'm looking for a folder, then I open Alfred and hit space, then the folder name.
But sometimes it gets "stuck" and just has one result (I forget what the result was; it says something like "Open folder", just a generic name like that).
I have to close Alfred (Escape key) and open it again to make it work.
So, it seems to get stuck, or stall, every once in a while.
Anyone know why this happens, and how I can fix it?

How would this differ from using command-tab? Unless I am misunderstanding something, I'd use command-tab - it's faster - a single key rather than a command and arrow keys.
It can be faster to use Alfred if I have a lot of apps running, like at least ten. I can definitely open Alfred and type out the first two characters of an app faster than I can cmd-tab to it. The order of apps appearing in cmd-tab are always different (based on the last opened, or something like that).

I use the Tab key to action items, so I'd like it if it was possible to choose an alternative key to auto-complete searches. The Ctrl key would work for me, for instance.

Is it possible to make a keyboard command, like typing "show", to then show a list of running apps? Then I can just arrow down to open the one I want?

Anyone know if a Songza workflow exists? Or if it is even possible to create one? They don't really have a public API so I'm guessing that's a huge hurdle, vs. a similar service like Spotify?

Please show the currently playing playlist in the iTunes Mini Player. Right now, it just shows rating, artist, song, and album. But no playlist.

I have made the Tab key show actions instead of auto-completing, so is there a way to instead replace the Tab key with another key for auto-completion? Like with the Ctrl key?

Is there any way to filter the contents of a folder? For instance, if I browse to a folder in Alfred, then I want to only show the files that END with the word "Test", then how would I do that?
Simply typing "Test" only shows files that BEGIN with that phrase.
The App Store doesn't match the search string "App Store"? Yet the preference pane for it DOES match.

If I open Alfred and type "App", then the first result is "App Store.app", and the second one is "AppStore.prefPane". But if I add the "S", so that it's "AppS" (no space!) then only the pref pane remains.
Why is that? Shouldn't they both still be there? I've got "Fuzzy capital letters" enabled.
