  1. Hi, All - Just FYI, I've upgraded to Alfred 3, and also to the just-released Zotero 5. Having already done the get-pip change, I'm not having that error. All the search functionality still works, but the the database cache isn't updating any more - this seems to be connected to changes to the underlying database schema (from the logs "no such column: creatorDataID"). I've started poking around the way Zotero deals with its SQL database a bit, to see what they've changed, though I've no real confidence in my ability to solve the issues.
  2. Dino / Sebastian - Did either of you get zotquery working with Alfred 3? I haven't upgraded yet because of zotquery compatibility concerns. Thanks.
  3. Beakmachine - Many thanks for posting the fix to the Packal version. The zotquery was showing the pop up that it was installing dependencies, then failing silently. Glancing at the debug log in Alfred showed the get-pip issue, but I never would have known to edit the bundler.py file.
  4. I don't mean to be rude in asking for free labor, but is there any chance someone might package this updated version? Alternately, could you point me to a step-by-step process for workflow creation that would clarify what I need to do in terms of workflow/script creation to make this work? Thanks.
  5. David & CT - Thanks for the quick replies. I've downloaded the other workflow - vpn toggle - and it works fine. Very odd. Also, trying what I should have tried before asking on the forum, uninstalling and reinstalling the original workflow also solved the problem. Duh. Thanks for the assistance.
  6. Hi, all - A workflow I've been using without issue suddenly stopped working today. The "VPN Connections" workflow has been a mainstay for me - invoke alfred, begin typing "VPN," wait for the list to appear, select a VPN connection as necessary. Today, when I type "vp" the workflow appears in a default state (i.e., As the first item, "select a VPN"), but it never actually populates with the list of available VPNS (which is available from the VPN toolbar icon directly). If I press return on "vp" it auto completes to "VPN", and then offers to search Google/Amazon/Wikipedia. If I type all of "VPN" it returns an old Safari history item. I've no idea what changed, other than enabling syncing of lLfred preferences from this machine to a second machine over the weekend. I used the sync file from this machine, and set to a Box folder, and haven't had any other problems with the syncing (i.e., everything custom appeared as expected on the second machine.) Anyway, thanks for any help - Alfred has been a great tool so far, and I regret ignoring the friends who ranted about it as long as I did.
