ObyOne
I perform the following activity a lot and would to automate this using an Alfred Workflow but I haven't been able to achieve what I want. My process is> Create a file or screenshot Open and existing draft email Drag and drop file into email This results in either the file being added as an attachment or if it is an image then the image is inserted within the body of the email. I would like to be able to have the email open (I use outlook but it should work in any other email client) and select Alfred, find the file I want to insert then select a File Action to mimic the drag and dropping of the file into the email. Is this possible? It would be a huge benefit to me but I cannot seem to find a way of achieving it. Link to comment
deanishe
You don't need to mimic drag and drop. Copy the image to the clipboard and then paste it. Link to comment

I should have thought of that, everyday is a school day!!!! Thanks very much. Will build it into the Smart Folders workflow and see how I get on. Link to comment
