You can email tasks, so I set up a workflow with a keyword and an NSApplescript routine that takes the query and sends it as the subject line. Dfay's script in this thread worked for the purpose. I figured I'd update this in case anyone else is looking to do the same. I think it should be easy to implement in Popclip as well to send highlighted text as a task. Link to comment
