lenny_leonard
Hello, I've been using Alfred (2.9) with Power Pack and PathFinder for a long time and until now all my open/reveal in finder from Alfred were correctly opened in PathFinder. I can't remember how I set this behavior at the time. Anyway, I'm not using PathFinder anymore and I want to switch back to Finder. I opened PathFinder and I've unchecked the "Set as default File Browser", relaunched Alfred and Finder but Alfred still open PathFinder. I've checked the files: ~/Library/Preferences/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-2.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.runningwithcrayons.Alfred-Preferences.plist but there is nothing there pointing to PathFinder or Finder. How can I remove PathFinder as default file browser from alfred? Link to comment

Alfred doesn't have a default handler for folders: it just asks the system to reveal/open the folder. It sounds like your settings haven’t taken. Try running open ~/Desktop in Terminal and see which application opens. That’s basically the same as what Alfred does. Link to comment

deanishe
Hmm. Are you talking about Alfred's built-in Open/Reveal actions, or workflows? Because you might have changed workflows or File Filters to explicitly use Path Finder. A reboot is always worth a try, too. Link to comment
