ronfouchier
Hello there, I used nativefier (https://github.com/nativefier/nativefier) to create a desktop version of Evernote and added the resulting folder to Alfred's search scope. Unfortunately only the folder shows up in Alfred, but not the program icon itself which would allow me to directly start the app. Is there any way to enable Alfred to "see" the app itself? Cheers and thanks in advance. Ron Link to comment
Vero
@ronfouchier If you open Alfred's File Troubleshooting tool under Help > Troubleshooting, and drag your new "app" shortcut, what file type is it? I'm not familiar with what it does, but knowing what file type it creates will help work out whether you can/should add it to your default results or create a file nickname workflow for it (see the "Adding keywords as nicknames" here: https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/how-to-get-the-results-you-want-in-alfred-every-time/) Cheers, Vero Link to comment
ronfouchier
Hi @Vero, thanks for your quick reply! 🙏 turns out I did not read all the tipps toroughly included in Alfred to solve my problem. Nativefier creates an application (com.apple.application-bundle), which I added under "Default Results > Advanced" and now Evernote shots up in the search results. I'll make sure to check out the nickname workflow, if I encounter a similar problem in the future. Have a great day. Ron Link to comment
