Sankalp
Hi all For whatever reason, i am not able to get results of folders when I press space and search for the folder name. In the preferences, "folders" checkbox is ticked, and the top level folder is included in the scope. The top level folder does appear in the results but any folder inside it does not. The same folder can be indexed through spotlight search. I have tried rebuilding the cache button but that did not fix the issue. Please suggest what to do. I am using Ventura right now, but had the same issue on Monterey. Alfred version is 5.05 Link to comment
binbjz
1. Disable indexing $ sudo mdutil -a -i off 2. Enable again $ sudo mdutil -a -i on Rad 1 Link to comment

Enable again $ sudo mdutil -a -i on This helped me out, thank you! And for noobs like me, open the Terminal app, and copy paste the first sudo line without the $ and enter. Then the same thing with the second line. This will get Spotlight to re-index all files; Alfred uses its scope. After the Terminal bit, invoque Spotlight with any search and you'll see how far along the indexing is at. Once it's finished, Alfred will also start showing the files you're looking for.
