Trigger workflow based on mode change (dark/light)

I was trying to figure out a way to trigger a work flow when the system changes modes either way light -> dark or dark -> light. I have a light/dark workflow toggle that I can add a script call into but I'm looking for away to listen when the system changes automatically not just on manual toggles.

 

 

I didn't really see anything after searching google outside of making a swift app or running a script in the background to listen for system events.

 

 

Is there anyway to trigger a workflow when the system mode changes?
