hpiwzqda
Hello, I've updated from macOS Mojave 10.14.6 to macOS Ventura 13.5.1. After the Spotlight has finished indexing I: wasn't able to find a file inside a home folder in Alfred was able to find a file inside a home folder in Spotlight itself Diagnostics: Starting Diagnostics... Try resetting Alfred's Preferences > Features > Default Results > Search Scope > Reset... to "Reset to Full Disk" File Search Results for search scope ( ) File Search Results for ~/ ( ) File Search Results for / ( "[0] /System/Volumes/Data/Users/alex/Desktop/VM/VirtualBox/VM/web_mount.command" ) ----------------------------------------------------------- ❌ Troubleshooting failed As you can see the macOS Ventura indexes the user's home folder as "/System/Volumes/Data/Users/alex" in Spotlight, but Alfred is searching in the "/Users/alex" folder. Folders are not a symlink to each other. When I use "Reset to Full Disk", then search starts working again. Maybe it's a bug in macOS Ventura because searching for any file in a Finder produces no results. When I reset the search scope to "This Mac", then I see results. qohelet
I have the same issue and had to reset Search Scope to Full Disk in order to be able to find anything. Looks like everything is indexed under "/System/Volumes/Data/Users/" and not "/Users/" Edited August 21, 2023 by qohelet

Maybe it's a bug in macOS Ventura because searching for any file in a Finder produces no results. When I reset the search scope to "This Mac", then I see results. hpiwzqda
@qohelet, also please answer this: what macOS version do you have (mine is macOS Ventura 13.5.1)? what Mac model do you have (mine is MacBookPro10,1)? you can detect it by running system_profiler SPHardwareDataType | grep 'Model Identifier' command in the Terminal; have you installed macOS natively or using Open Core Legacy Patcher (or similar) means? Thank you.
qohelet
Looks like the issue is known, I solved rebuilding the spotlight index from recovery following this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254848225?answerId=259026449022#259026449022 Anyway: 1. Same 13.5.1 2. MacBookPro18,4 3. Natively

Now I've changed Alfred search settings back to home folder and everything works again.
