Sinner Buns
I've tried doing this in other text clipping software but haven't been able to pull it off and my coding skills are pretty slim. In my line of work we'll have blackout periods where work cannot be done. Sometimes a customer will request that something be done during that period and so I need to explain that from the Monday before the 1st Friday of a particular month to the Sunday after the 3rd Friday of that month is the blackout period. I'm looking for a way to be able to enter in a month and have it spit out the correct range of dates knowing that those dates may begin near the end of the previous month. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Link to comment
giovanni
here you go @Sinner Buns Usage: - keyword bkout (or custom hotkey) - enter month (format: yyyy-mm) to return the blackout period - enter complete date (format yyyy-mm-dd) to check if that date is in the blackout period - enter ↩️ to show with large font and copy to clipboard let me know if you want to make changes!
