Alfred can not find certain Apple Apps [Solved]

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I am new using Alfred but I love the usability and shortcuts and so on. The only Problem I have, that Alfred can´t find certain Apple Apps - for example:

Preferences, Mail, AppStore, Preview and many more - s. Screenshot.

Can anybody help how to configure Alfred finding these Apps and Files.

Thanks and Best regards,

Sebastian

@jsschaeffer Welcome to the forum! Could you please let us know which version of Alfred and macOS you're using?

Have you by any chance just upgraded macOS? If so, you may need to give it some time to complete a reindex.

Also, please use Alfred's File Troubleshooter and drag in Mail from Finder to find out if it's correctly indexed:

If you can provide some more details, we'll be happy to help you work out what's happening on your Mac.
