jsschaeffer
Hi there, I am new using Alfred but I love the usability and shortcuts and so on. The only Problem I have, that Alfred can´t find certain Apple Apps - for example: Preferences, Mail, AppStore, Preview and many more - s. Screenshot. Can anybody help how to configure Alfred finding these Apps and Files. Thanks and Best regards, Sebastian Link to comment
Vero
@jsschaeffer Welcome to the forum! Could you please let us know which version of Alfred and macOS you're using? Have you by any chance just upgraded macOS? If so, you may need to give it some time to complete a reindex. Also, please use Alfred's File Troubleshooter and drag in Mail from Finder to find out if it's correctly indexed: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/ If you can provide some more details, we'll be happy to help you work out what's happening on your Mac. jsschaeffer
Hi there, thanks for the immediate reply and on the other hand "Sorry" for opening a topic here. For any reason I used the V 1.2 of Alfred instead of V 5 - now, after installing V 5 everything works fine. Thread ca be closed or deletet. Best Sebastiab Link to comment
