arijon
Hello, I'd like to have a {first name} variable in a snippet that I can enter each time I expand the snippet. I searched around and didn't see an easy answer. I found this article, but it seems a bit complex. Let me know if that's what I need to do? Thanks. Link to comment
Vero
@arijon You can use the {cursor} dynamic placeholders. With this one, the snippet will paste, then the cursor will move to the location of the {cursor} marker so that you can manually answer the name. Otherwise, the tutorial you found is a great way to do it - we're happy to help you create a workflow if you let us know what content you'd like to include Link to comment
arijon
Thank you for the quick reply! Separate question: how do I code a link to a word in a snippet? I'm only able to "make link" of text that is formatted as a link, otherwise I am having to paste the linked text in from another source. Link to comment
