Pranshu Agrawal
Hi All, I was trying out alfred and what a lovely app it is. I was wondering if there is a way to minimize all the full screen app. For example, I have currently three apps opened in full screen mode as can be seen in the below attachment and I would like to minimise all of them. There should absolutely be nothing on my desktop. Also, I am running a multi monitor setup. Not sure if that adds any further complexity. Thanks! Link to comment
vitor
Welcome @Pranshu Agrawal, You can’t directly minimise full screen apps (not even manually, the option is disabled). In addition, Apple does not provide good programmatic ways of interacting with different Desktop Spaces (like the ones created by maximising windows, so even taking them out of full screen becomes a challenge), plus that rearranges spaces. There are ways to do it, but they require on GUI automation so they’re error prone and difficult to get right. Link to comment
