Open Chrome Incognito from standard Chrome Window using (CMD+Shift+N)

Open Alfred with shortcut keys (CMD + Space)

Search for Browser URL

Push enter once URL was found to open in my browser

Issue is that it opens in the non focused browser window and not the incognito window; this worked on prior versions of Chrome and the macOS; not sure what happened but it recently stopped opening in the focused incognito browser window and only opens in the non-incognito windows.

Yes happens ever since Chrome update to 119.0.6045.199 (Official Build) (arm64)

* Include the Alfred version & build number you are using (don't say "latest" - you'll find a version number in the Update tab of Alfred's preferences)

@Gil C Alfred passes a URL to macOS, and this is passed by macOS to your default browser. What happens after Alfred requests a URL to open is outside of his control.

 

Testing in Safari on Sonoma, the URL is correctly opened in the last focused browser window (private or normal). If this is a recent behaviour change in Chrome, you may be best reporting this to Google as it could either be a deliberate change by them, or a bug.
