Morriz
I am having permissions errors coming from 4 to 5 and want to start in debug mode to get verbose output. How can we do that? Link to comment
Vero
@Morriz Could you be more specific about what permission errors you're seeing? Are you referring to specific workflows or to Alfred in general? Link to comment
Morriz
After migrating to the new Dropbox architecture and subsequent preferences location change (even thought this worked until yesterday), I got permissions errors about Alfred not being able to write to plist files, even thought the perms were correct. I worked around it (don't have an explanation as to why this worked) by just moving the prefs folder locally, pointing to the new location and saving, and then copy pasting back the entire prefs folder to dropbox, repointing and now it sees no errors. Likely explanation: combo of OSX special file locks/checks Edited January 15 by Morriz Link to comment
Vero
@Morriz Yes, this will be a macOS permissions issue. Moving a file and creating a new folder will result in new permissions being created, solving the issue. Can I confirm you're all sorted now? Link to comment
