Andrew
Cannot "open"/"find" files located in home folder (in ~ itself, not in one of it's subduers which is working fine). Both mdfind and spotlight shows the files. Alfred 2.0.3, OS X 10.8.2 This is because Alfred doesn't include the home folder itself, only the folders in home. This allows Alfred to exclude the ~/Library folder which is full of things you don't really need to see in Alfred by default. If you move these folders into a subfolder (better practice as it's not really normal to put files directly into your home folder), then Alfred will find them fine. Alternatively, you could add ~ into Alfred's search scope. Link to comment
pavel.sakun
Thank you Andrew, it helped. I thought that if something needs to be excluded it should be excluded explicitly, ~/Library in this case and not ~ and ~/Library. "Include folders in Home excluding ~/Library" option gave me wrong feeling of excluding just ~/Library as well. Link to comment
