larstomas
Hi, Is it any way to rank the category Bookmarks higher? One of my most frequent uses of Alfred is to open a saved bookmark. However, bookmarks always show up at the bottom of the results if they haven't been accessed before. Link to comment
Stephen_C
Welcome to the forum. It may help to understand how Alfred orders search results so take a look at this Alfred help page: Understanding Result Ordering. In practical terms, if you access a saved bookmark a few times you should find it rises to the top of the results list. Stephen Link to comment
larstomas
Hi, Thank you for the quick answer. I understand how Alfred by default order my results. That is why I wrote "if they haven't been accessed before." The problem is that infrequently used bookmarks are always ordered last in the results. If I access a bookmark once every month it is always ordered last in the results. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to change the default ordering of different kinds of items, assuming that 'Rolling Knowledge' and 'Keyword Latching' don't affect the search result. For example, results from 'Web Bookmarks' (a feature in Alfred preferences) always appear after results from 'Contacts'. Is it possible to make 'Web Bookmarks' appear before 'Contacts' (and everything else)? Link to comment
