Karl Klammer
I found out that there is a folder called "tasks" in my trash. This folder contains a large number of subfolders that all belong to Alfred in some way. I previously installed a workflow via Github/Download. Where do the folders/files come from and why are they in the trash? Thank you! Link to comment
vitor
I don’t know why they are in the Trash because that’s something that will have happened locally on your side. For example: if you used an overzealous App Cleaner. What you’re looking at are support files for the Automation Tasks. You can simply update them to set them up in the correct place. Link to comment
Karl Klammer
Sure, Alfred has moved something locally to the trash. But I can exclude the possibility that I actively deleted something. I also generally don't use any questionable app cleaners. It could be that an update was made when installing the external workflow and Alfred then disposed of the old files automatically? vitor
You’re correct, I misinterpreted your screenshot as only having trashed some of them (which wouldn’t be right) because the folder contents were incomplete but I see now what I was missing. Link to comment
Karl Klammer
Perfect, thanks for clearing that up! 👍 Link to comment
