Alfred 5 unresponsive on MacOS 14.4.1 (23E224) (Apple M1 Pro 14 inch 2021)

Hi,

 

Out of a sudden, Alfred 5 becomes unresponsive when opened on MacOS 14.4.1 (23E224) (Apple M1 Pro 14 inch 2021). Applications show 2 versions of Alfred: (1) "Alfred" and (2) Alfred 5". I cannot delete "Alfred" only as it comes back when installing "Alfred 5".

@VDH You should only have Alfred 5 installed, you may also have Alfred 1 installed from the Mac App Store. If installed correctly, you should only see "Alfred 5" in your Applications folder.

 

Unresponsive behaviour can be caused by having Alfred's preferences folder set to e.g. iCloud and using Optimised Storage, where the files Alfred needs instant access to no longer exist on your local drive.

 

Can you open Alfred's Preferences to the Help tab, and email the output of the "Diagnostics..." button to our info@ email address and I'll take a look.
