mikeebee
Hi all, I get the feeling I'm making a fundamental error here. I've had a look around on the forums but I'm stumped. I recently got V2 and created a workflow. When I press enter (or click on the workflow title from the Alfred box), all that happens is that a space character gets added to the name of the Workflow. I assumed I was doing something wrong but then I downloaded a few Workflows from http://www.alfredworkflow.com/ and the same thing happens with all of them. Any ideas? Thanks! Carlos-Sz
Let’s make a test: 1. download this workflow I made named Now 2. double click the file to install it 3. once installed quit Alfred preferences 4. now bring Alfred (usually option+space) 5. now type the keyword now 6. now hit return key You should see the current time. If all it's doing is adding a space to the end of the workflow keyword, that more than likely is the indication that the workflow accepts input and is waiting for it. Depending on the workflow/keyword you entered, provide that workflow some input and then press enter Link to comment
mikeebee
That works perfect Carlos. But David was right on the money, I didn't realise that additional inputs were required. Newbie workflow error! Thanks for the help guys! Carlos-Sz 1 Link to comment
rice.shawn
If you don't want the extra input required then change the "Argument Required" to "Argument Optional" or "No Argument" Link to comment
