I made a quick workflow to back off google's conversion calculator.

 

You use it like

 

convert 15f in c

 

etc

 

Very open to suggestion for icons and so forth

Ouh, I do like that idea for an extension ! But I would suggest that you take a look at how to feed back results to Alfred so that you can see the conversion result in real time.
