gfhsoft Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 I am unable to retrieve any contacts from Contacts.app. I have "Contacts" checked in the "Default Results" preference pane, and "Open Contacts" in "Alfred" also checked. I have ran and reran "Reload Alfred Cache", I have verified and repaired my permissions in DiskUtility but still nothing. What else do I need to do to be able to find one of my contacts? Could this be a problem with card-dav, my contacts are not "On My Mac" (I use fruux rather than iCloud). Any help or suggestions given gratefully received. gfhsoft Posted July 20, 2013 Author Share Posted July 20, 2013 The solution turned out to be a setting in the OS "System Preferences", under the Contacts "Security & Privacy" panel. Here "Alfred" (now removed from my system) was checked, but Alfred 2 was unchecked. Checking this and restarting the OS solved my problem.
