Can you disable update pop-up?

Anyone know how to either, 

1, disable the "New version available" pop-up, or

2, disable automatic update checking?

 

When there's a new Alfred version I get a modal pop-up right in my face which pisses me off no end  can disturb my concentration. I need to turn this off.  I will settle for manually checking for updates if I have to disable the automatic update check. Had a quick search through the settings and these forums, but I must have missed it.

You can turn off auto-update checking at the bottom of Alfred's Update prefs. I aim to make this update less intrusive in 2.1
