Apple Maps on OS X 10.9 Mavericks Custom Search

Hey folks,

 

I use Apple Maps on OS X 10.9 Mavericks and tried a custom web search url.

 

http://maps.apple.com/maps?q={query}

 

 

 

Unfortunately this didn't work.

 

Any idea on how to start a search and open den Maps App?

LOL.. wait.. it works now. Strange. Well then maybe it helps somebody here do create his own custom search.

Yes, this is great. Thanks a lot.

But I was also looking for a way to show a address that is not saved in the contacts.

For the contacts I still use your workflow which works like charm.
