Questions about Workflow and Alfred's Buffer

Quick questions just to understand what's possible between workflows and the buffer:

 

1. When executing a workflow is the buffer always automatically cleared if that option is set in preferences?

2. Is there a way to execute an action, but not clear the buffer or even set an action to ignore the buffer?

3. Is there any way to add or remove items to the buffer in a workflow?

 

I know these are simple questions, I'm just trying to understand how it works.

I know these are simple questions, I'm just trying to understand how it works.

 

If the options to clear the buffer are enabled, then yes, the buffer should be cleared after 5 minutes, or, after actioning them. With those options unticked, they should remain in the buffer until you manually remove them.

 

There is no functionality built in right now to be able to add files to Alfred's buffer from workflows.
