When you are searching a contact when that has a phone number it would be good to use the Yosemite/IOS 8 call feature to allow you to call that name.

You can do this using a contact action

 

Open Alfred's preferences to Features > Contacts and add a custom action. Choose the "Phone" contact field, and next to the "Pass to URL Scheme" action, type "tel://{query}". Now, when you open a contact in Alfred's Contact Viewer and select their phone number, FaceTime will launch, ready to start a call for you.
