Snippet in Alfred focus box?

Just checking - but I assume there is no way to fire text snippets inside the Alfred focus box (the box that comes up when you hit the hotkey). Have tried numerous ways, but think this is not possible. Just wanted to confirm.

 

Thanks and great product upgrade - really love the text expansion, one less program I need on the Mac now.

By default, this is disabled, but if you click the cog to the right of the Auto-Expansion checkbox in the Snippets preferences, you can remove Alfred from the ignore list.
