pmg
Hey Alfred, I'm having a small issue with some apps not showing up in Alfred 3.0.1 build 671, on OS X 10.11 Are are 2 screenshots that clearly demonstrate my problem: 1) as you can see, Byword is installed in my Applications folder, however, when typed in Alfred, Alfred won't find it. 2) However, if I search for Buffer in Alfred, it will show up: I tried reloading the cache, but to no avail. many thanks pm Link to comment
Vero
Hey Alfred, I'm having a small issue with some apps not showing up in Alfred 3.0.1 build 671, on OS X 10.11 pm Hi PM, Have you taken a look at the Indexing troubleshooting page? https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/ If the only app you have difficulty finding seems to be Byword, I would suggest starting by dragging Byword into the Spotlight privacy tab in System Preferences. Wait a few moments, then drag it back out, therefore forcing OS X to reindex it. You can then type "reload" into Alfred to refresh the cache of apps. If you're having issues finding more apps, you may benefit from rebuilding your Mac's cache as a whole, which you can do by click the "Rebuild OS X Metadata" button in Alfred's Advanced preferences. Let us know how you get on Cheers, Vero Link to comment
