"Search on Google" overruling workflow keywords

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just purchased the power pack and installed the two workflows from Packal that I really wanted: Evernote and Twitter. (The ones that are listed on the Alfred homepage).

For me they don't work. When I enter the keyword into Alfred (e.g., 'tweet' or 'enn'), 'search on google' overrules the keyword, replacing it with for example "Search Google for 'tweet'".

Example: https://twitter.com/williamgill/status/773554034280173569

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!

cheers

Hi Will,

Could you take a look at the workflows you've installed and check first whether the keywords for the workflow match what you're typing? Secondly, if it does match, make sure you've set up the workflow correctly, as workflows like the Twitter one may require a little bit of setup (e.g. authenticating your Twitter account).

Alfred will only fall back on the web searches if there are no relevant local results, so as soon as your workflow is setup correctly, you'll be tweeting freely :)

Cheers,

Vero
