Automatically trigger a workflow on an action?

I'm using the Philips Hue workflow and my office lights are Hue bulbs.  At the moment, I either turn them on via my phone, or don't bother at all.

 

Is it possible to do something like:

• When Mac is awoken or screensaver disabled, AND the Macbook is connected to my WiFi
  • Turn office lights on
• When Mac is asleep or screensaver is active
  • Turn office lights off

Yes, you can trigger a workflow based on an event. No, you cannot do it via Alfred alone (and that’s a feature). By design, Alfred is meant to be specifically called.

 

What you can do is have something else look for the external event and then call the workflow via an External Trigger.
