bitt3n
I would like to create a snippet that produces the numpad keys (1,2,3 etc but on the numpad, not the top of the keyboard). I don't have a numpad on my keyboard, so I cannot type the numpad keys to create the snippet. How can I create the snipped I need? Link to comment
deanishe
Snippets are just text, so it doesn't matter in the slightest whether you use the numpad or the top keyboard row. What are you trying to achieve? Link to comment
bitt3n
Certain programs use the numpad keys for hotkeys that are different from the standard number keys. As you instructed elsewhere it looks like I have to use AppleScript to do this. Thanks. Link to comment
deanishe
FWIW, this might not work for games. They're very often not native applications, so OS X automation, like simulated keypresses, don't always work. Link to comment
