Here is the first beta of Evernote workflow version 9 with Alfred 3 support: Download
Please use it with caution and make some tests before changing important notes.
Thank you, mostly looking good but I can't get the 'Type Note' command to work
Cheers

Here is a temporary fix.
Go to: /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Application Support/
And there you paster the file of this zip: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xqchp9uzhfbvtg9/Evernote%20Workflow%20fix.zip?dl=0
Its the old Alfred 2 file its asking for. Somehow the app doesn't update for some. It did for me in the first case and then never again lol
I'll see if i find another solution, but this one works for now.
Hi FroZen_X
Thanks very much, all seems to be work fine now. I wonder if the author is still bothering with this as he doesn't seem to have posted for some time.
Thanks again

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I checked my workflows folder, there was one other q file in another workflow so I changed the refs in that too. I even searched for invisible files in case one was still there.
But the results are the same as before
Cheers

My mistake, the q_workflow had still refers to Alfred 2. Either open it and replace "Alfred 2" with "Alfred 3" and "Alfred-2" with "Alfred-3" or download again from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1enxxqddx1t7w8g/Evernote.alfredworkflow?dl=0
Hi
I deleted the workflow from Alfred, installed the one you reference above and tried again with the same result. Alfred 2 is no longer on my machine I had Alfred 3 remove it when I installed that. The debug message remains the same.
Cheers
-
I posted a link to download the workflow here:
The q_workflow is included thereThanks for that, I've installed it, changed the refs to Alfred 3 and it still won't work properly. I type ENS and it says search Evernote, then I add a space and it says search Google.
I turned on the debug and got this
[2016-05-24 13:22:36][ERROR: input.scriptfilter] Code 1: 0:90: execution error: mkdir: /Users/Pat/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data: No such file or directory (1)
But I've no idea where to change that reference
Cheers

The prefs are in dropbox but the q file is not there, there is a q file in another workflow's folder but not in the Evernote one. I've used HoudahSpot to find the file and that is the only one it finds.

if you have this extension installed then they gotta exist somewhere. Do a search on your computer to find the location they reside in, then edit them from there. I didn't give the exact path because the last folder is some long, cryptic string of characters. You just gotta figure out which one of 'em holds this extension.
I found the prefs in my dropbox folder, I forgot I was syncing via Dropbox, but the q_workflow file is not there

kelpie...see my last post above, I'm guessing he followed that advice. Gotta modify a couple of the scripts to point to Alfred 3 instead of 2 and then you're in business.
Hi
Yes, I looked at that but the files you speak of don't exist in that location on my machine

Issue is resolved for me now.
Can you say how you resolved it, please?
Thank you.
-
Good grief, how did I miss that?
Thank you
-
That brings me to another issue
When I type devonb or devonb! all that happens is Alfred offers to search Google for devonb as shown below
-
Just downloaded it again, did a search in DT and found a file. checked the Library and that directory still does not exist
-
Stil not creating the directory for me
-
not working... I use Pathfinder as default maybe that's the problem?
Yes, I use PF too and it does not seem to pass the file over to the app. I tried from Finder and it worked fine.
Cheers

There is a nice workflow for this:
http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/1345-open-selected-finder-items-in-an-application-keyword/
Thanks, I'll look at that too
-
I have a similar need... Here is how I accomplished mine:
1) Create a File Action trigger (choose appropriate keyword and whether this action will accept multiple files)
2) Create a Run Script action (leave the Language setting on the default bin/bash)
3) Paste in this code "open -a /Applications/Preview.app {query}" (without the quote marks)
Replace the Preview.app reference with the exact app filename of your desired app, such as GraphicConvertor.
4) Connect the File Action to the Run Script
Now, with your file(s) selected in Finder, invoke Alfred's actions panel (as defined by the hotkey in preferences: File Search > Actions > File Selection)
Once the actions panel is displayed, starting typing your keyword from Step 1 and it will appear as an action for your selected file(s). Choosing that action will pass the file(s) to GraphicConvertor to open.
Thank you, that works for me.

Hi
I'm a complete beginner here but would like a simple workflow that opens the file highlighted in the Finder with a specified app. For example, I highlight a jpeg in the Finder then call the workflow and it opens it in GraphicConverter. Seems simple to me but I've been failing. How do I pass the highlighted file to the workflow?
Thanks for you patience.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to look into my housekeeping routines.

@kelpie: You may try this-- Start up the Devonthink application. After a few minutes, quit the application. (this will populate the metadata folder located at ' Library > Cache > Metadata' with Devonthink's data). Then try your search again in Alfred. I notice I have to do this after using a cleaning program like Onyx or similar.
Thank you, that indeed solved the problem. I must make sure I don't clean that out in future.
@kerrydawson for info it is DEVONthink Pro Office

Hi
I'm having a problem with this workflow. When I type 'devon ' it shows the workflow correctly but when I start to type the search query, 'h' for example, it changes to a Google search for 'devon h'. Any idea why?
-
Hi
The Top and Kill workflow is one workflow, the Kill part worked OK, the Top part doesn't work with the 'top' keyword, there are nine results listed none of them show the CPU usage. With the '.top' keyword used I get nine results showing CPU and memory usage.
The DEVONthink workflow is here http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/2265-devonthink-document-search/
Thanks

Hi
Yes, all keywords gave the date as output, some in different formats and some with a time too, but all gave an output.

If you open Console.app, are there any errors showing when you try to do this? It may be something like missing or corrupt shell configuration.
Hi
no errors in console that I can see

Please disregard, I've just tried it again and it seems to be working. Must have been my finger trouble.
Thanks for the update
