I managed to use an Arc's function called Air Traffic Control to force URLs that contains "https://pinboard.in/add?" to open in a pop-up window (Little Arc) 🎉
 
 

The code is the same for every browser, straight from the official Pinboard bookmarklet. It’s up to each browser to react accordingly.

Workflow is now distributed via the Alfred Gallery. Download the new version from there or update directly from Alfred.
New repository. New icon. New About. Add configurable keywords. Convert Workflow Environment Variables into Workflow Configuration. Add API key setting to Workflow Configuration. Remove OneUpdater in favour of Gallery updating.

From your description, seems to be the same thing reported by the previous two posters. That is addressed by version 2022.21.
 
 
Don’t change those in the Workflow Environment Variable. The User Configuration has a specific field for it.

And yes, I should've managed the variable in the User Configuration via the "Configure Workflow" button.. 🙇🏻‍♂️

Had a suspicion which I just confirmed; your Pinboard API token is probably wrong. Run :pinplusresetapitoken to fix that. Pinboard’s error message isn’t the best, though.

Just take a browse of Twitter mentions @pinboard it's plain to see. No hypothesis or doubt needed. 

I doubt Maciel would just abandon it. It makes money and one of his frequent quips is how every other bookmarking service falls by the wayside. If he got tired of it, maybe he’d go into maintenance mode and get someone to manage it. I think he did something similar when he went to Antarctica.
 

That might still be worth it. He’s usually responsive and interested in knowing about errors. Worth pointing out the blog is down as well.

Let Alfred learn from usage (except unread bookmarks). This means your most often selected bookmarks will show at the top when using pin. For pun they’ll still show in the order defined by the unread_order Workflow Environment Variable.

To update, download the latest version (same URL) or wait a few days and it’ll prompt you to on next usage, since it uses OneUpdater.

Removed support for the alternative app. It offered a slightly nicer-looking interface for adding bookmarks but in return it was bigger, slower, and used Electron which is constantly changing and part of an system rife with (security) issues. While it’s unlikely that would ever become a problem (due to the limited scope of the app), removing it entirely is a better bet. It didn’t have a tremendous amount of downloads either way, so I doubt it will be missed much.

In its stead, the default option to open the window directly in the browser is now marginally faster.

Also, the External Trigger for the launchd job has been replaced by an Inbound Configuration. If you used it, you don’t have to change anything.

You have to manually enable Spotlight indexing again. Open a Terminal window and type:
sudo mdutil -i on /Volumes/GoogleDrive* Worked for me on MAC OS Big Sur 11.5.2. Just wait 5 min and the files should show up. Of course, you have to add /Volumes/GoogleDrive/MyDrive to your search scope first.
