Apparently I just can't hit Enter at all on this forum. HI deanishe, I've been using your Secure Password workflow for months now and I love it. Recently, it's hanging on "Crunching random bits" when trying to generate a PW, and "Loading preferences" when I try to get int pwconf. Any ideas what might cause that? I've run the pwgen.py script from a Terminal and it seems to be working properly.

Yeah. It's probably this Alfred bug: https://github.com/deanishe/alfred-workflow/issues/80
I was hoping Andrew would push a fix for Alfred, and I and everybody else using Alfred-Workflow could avoid updating all their workflows, but Andrew's focussed on v3 right now.
I'll ask Andrew if he can update Alfred accordingly or I'll update the workflow in the coming days to use the current version of Alfred-Workflow, which has a workaround.

Hi deanishe, I downloaded your convert workflow, and I was hoping you could either explain how I could add a unit, or if you could add a unit and provide an update. I am dealing with meteorology and I wanted to be able to convert inches of mercury (inHg) to millibars and vice versa. 1inHg = 33.86mb. I like the convenience of the workflow so if you could add that, that would be awesome! Let me know if you can show me or just do it.

This is explained in the documentation: https://github.com/deanishe/alfred-convert#adding-custom-units
Specifically, enter "convinfo" into Alfred, and choose "Edit Custom Units". The unit_definitions.txt file will open in your default editor. Add "1 inHg = 33.86 millibars" at the bottom of the file and save it. The workflow now understands inches of mercury.
If you need more information, please see the Pint documentation (links are contained in th...

Hi, deanishe. I was using your Packal workflow. I input "packal workflows regex". The "Regex" workflow has a read question mark next to it. What does it mean? How can I, the author, fix the issue?
-
Hi Matthew,
The icons are documented in the README: https://github.com/deanishe/alfred-packal-search#icons
What the question mark means is that the workflow is available on Packal, but you didn't install if from there (i.e. the search workflow didn't find Packal's metadata within the workflow). I'd expect authors to see the question mark next to their own workflows, seeing as they're probably running it from their own copy of the source code. So it sh...
