  1. Thanks @Vero I'll try this later this weekend. Do you think there's a way that I can open it in Safari by Pressing "Command" key + Enter, like the modifier key that I did in "Searchio!"?
  2. Do we have a similar solution for opening a bookmark in Safari? assuming the default browser is still Chrome. Thanks
  3. Hi @Vero I just followed your method to duplicate the search node in "Searchio!" and created a modifier key to open it in Safari. Your solution worked perfectly, thank you!
  4. @vitor, thanks. but Amazon Suggest from giovanni does not have the previrew feature which is something I use very often. let me to go their github page and ask that question, thanks
  5. @Vero Thanks for the solutions, both should work, but I'm not sure either one is exactly what I'm looking for. I've been using <Searchio!>from @deanishe for a while, this workflow has functions like "autofill / auto suggestion" in their search engines. for example in this google search: and now, my default browser is set to Chrome, so if choose any item in the search result list, it will be opened in Chrome. What I want is to quickly open the search result in whichever browser I want (Chrome or Safari) instead of having to press the right arrow and "Open URL in...(eg: Safari)" which I think can be frustrating if I have to hit so many keys to open it in safari. So with Chrome being set as my default browser, how can I easily open what I want in Safari while still keep this handy autofill / auto suggestion feature of <Searchio! > Thanks!
  6. @vitor thanks buddy, I've installed the latest version and the setting works now, but somehow amazon search still doesn't work: do you know what is happening? thanks
  7. Thank you, will check it out later
  8. Hi all, I've been using Chrome as my default browser, and it works great. But now I have some work that needs to be done in Safari. So my question is, is there a workflow/solution that I can use to open/search for something in Safari while maintaining Chrome as my default browser without having to constantly switch between these two browsers? Let me give you a context: I have Chrome as my default browser. I search "ABC", "UVW", "XYZ"... in the Alfred bar, and they're all opened in Chrome, but now I want to quickly search and open "123", "890" in Safari,. What should I do here to make this work without having to change the default Chrome browser? The potential solutions I have right now: 1. install both Alfred 4 and Alfred 5, have one use Chrome as default and the other one use Safari, but the problem is that I cannot have both 4 and 5 open at the same time 2. keep my current Alfred 5 with Chrome as the default browser, and install an alternative app to handle the searches in Safari. By setting different shortcuts to launch these two apps, I can freely and quickly search for things in both browsers. 3. I installed the workflow: Default Browser by Patrick Sy, but this is not exactly what I'm looking for, because it basically just helps me to switch the default browser without having to go to settings I definitely prefer to keep everything in just my Alfred5 if we have an Alfred solution for that, but any suggestions or workaround would be appreciated, thank you.
  9. hi @nikivi do you have any problem with the Searchio settings? it doesn't seem to work anymore
  10. @AndrewThanks, the manual terminal folder deletion worked, and the reindexing is all good now.
  11. @Vero It's affecting not only Downloads, but the whole file system. I just have to manually open that file first to make it appear in the Alfred search bar. I'll need to figure out how to ”Delete .Spotlight-V100 Folder“, it just keeps giving me this error message from Alfred: how should I do it outside Alfred? and if I successfully delete this folder, what should I do next? thanks
  12. Thanks @Andrew, I typed ”mdutil -s /“ in the terminal, and this is the result:
  13. @Vero I can't find the file through Spotlight. I just tested it with another file in the File Troubleshooter: Starting Diagnostics... 14. @Vero I did not use the terminal at all and didn't see any error messages from the terminal. I clicked on the "Delete .Spotlight-V100 Folder" button within Alfred. I updated my system to Sonoma around 2 weeks ago, but this issue showed up 2 days ago. I'm not aware of any major changes to my Mac. I can see the file from the Alfred search bar if I've opened that file traditionally (go to the finder and open it), but it doesn't automatically show me all the potential files matching the name as before. I tried "Rebuild macOS Metadata Index" one more time last night, it's been running for more than 12 hours, and it's still ongoing...
